DDO Mod 7 Updates-the Monk issue

Here is the first article/interview related to the up coming release of Mod 7.

There are some interesting points that the producer, Kate Piaz, of DDO made. The one big sore spot for me is that it isn't clear if Gnomes are going to be included in future releases....

It took them how long to code someone who punches and kicks? maybe it was the flip that gave them trouble.

Ouch, that Purple Dragon is buzzing again....Wait, there it is again, can you hear it?? Its like this annoying chanting that tries to converts good DDO souls to a life long session of killing bunnies. Dont give in like, er 10 million other poor souls? Geez, there are a lot of people that need DDO rehab...

So, this means that each DDO member needs to help an estimate 286 WoW lost souls each and show them who has the best MMO community out there... LOL I think this is going to take some time...

However, there is nothing better than to chase that WoW Purple Dragon away with a nice ice cold class of foamy DDO... ;D

A casual video interview with Kate Piaz showing a lot more detail about the monk. The video includes demonstrations and talks about the 'Voice of the Master' trinket, which is the DDO tribute to Gary Gygax. And it seems there will be a permanent tribute to Mr. Gygax in the Delara's area....

Here is the link to the latest WDA from Turbine...Interesting stuff, the Paladin just got even more love...I tell ya, the Paly is close to the almighty now...BadAss.. Quivers are in now, but the old collectable items are back to being useful again. Too bad i didn't keep mine. I haven't collected collectables since 4 months after beta... LOL.

Another quick MMORPG.com article about the up in coming MOD 7. It does confirm that there will be 2 new raids, (my guess is one high level and one low level raid) and a new wilderness area. But, no release date yet except that its going to be in May...

Here is a video of Kate Piaz talking about the past 2 years and Mod7, which will include 2 new raids (1 raid will be in a wilderness area that is allows raid groups), 3 new monsters (including the Sahuagin), and she confirmed the quivering palm ability for the monk (very cool).... enjoy
