1 is yes. The other is a wakizashi.  Havent taken an updated picture. Lets see whats in there. 2 Katanas 2 wakizashi 1 I forget what the smallest one is called out of the Japanese set of 3 2 kendo sticks Kull the Conquer sword 1 shortsword and my grandfathers bayonet not in the picture that I have Excalibur The sword that Lucy Lui uses in Kill Bill Gladius and a crap load of daggers |

The first two are pretty similar. I'm a big enough nerd that I enjoy the movie/game replica swords over practical practice swords. ;D And the third link is really just drool-worthy, since I don't know anyone wealthy enough and serious enough about collecting to shell out that kind of cash.

The Samurai sword combo of the Katana and Wakizashi was known as a 'Daisho'. In college, oh so long ago, i had the diasho combo along with a tanto and oh so many shurikens. In fact, we used our apartment's ceiling as target practice. Oh the memories of coming home from school and seeing daggers and stars stuck in the ceiling. Needless to say we never got our deposit back.  |
