Ok, this is turning out to be a pretty cool week for DDO's 2nd Anniversary..The celebration started with a darkened sky in the market place, a kind of Matrix feeling was settling in. Then free Cake was given out that once eaten, produced a Djnnie that gave you a wish, along with some sarcasim....
The Djinnies multiply from the Anniversary Cake. However, this was a loop hole that was later fixed.... created by Berryman
Over the weekend, graffiti/glyphs spontaneously showed up throughout the market place. New NPCs appeared as well claiming to be merchants from the big tent explaining they were loosing business and had to close shop...mmm OK
Sunday thru Monday Portals started to appear throughout the market place with Bearded Devils and Orthons coming thru every now and then......
Monday evening there was an even bigger change, a tower from a member of the wizard 12 suddenly appeared floating in the market place followed by another run of devil attacks...
Tuesday evening, a Vortex that covered half the sky apeared directly above the merchant tent in the market place. Again followed by even more devil attacks....This by far has been the coolest graphics that have appeared...
Not too much happened tonight, Wednesday. However, the merchant's tent did start swaying back and forth with debri getting sucked into the Vortex....Nice touch...
